About Me

Storyteller, content creator, copywriter, journalist and project manager.

Hi, I’m Faizah!

I’m a Clinical Operations Manager, independent writer, activist, and Hip-Hop enthusiast and educator, dedicated to storytelling and creative expression. I believe diversity in your passions is a blessing, not a cure and the more you do, the more you can understand the world. Bringing people together through shared experiences and meaningful dialogue is my passion.

From a young age, I’ve been deeply curious about science, which led me to earn a degree in Immunology with Microbiology and an MSc in Molecular Life Sciences. Today, I work as a Clinical Operations Manager in Biotech, where I continue to explore the intersection of science and innovation.

Growing up, Hip-Hop music captivated me, especially its political and empowering elements in the 90s. My love for the culture deepened when I discovered Breakin’, inspiring me to create my own events—“Breakin’ Boundaries”—to raise money for charity. These events brought together people from diverse cultures and backgrounds who shared a love for Hip-Hop. Through this journey, I’ve travelled to corners of the globe I never imagined visiting, gaining profound insights into the universal threads that connect us all.

A pivotal conversation with Nasir Jones sparked my desire to visit Palestine, a journey that forever changed me. My heart remains deeply tied to Palestine, and I’m driven by a passion for human rights and a vision to inspire solidarity. I strive to embody the essence of a global citizen, believing that while our cultures are beautifully unique, our shared humanity unites us in powerful ways.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. If you’d like to connect, feel free to reach out!
